Gail Werner Photography bio picture

Welcome to my Blog!

Gail Werner is a central Indiana wedding and portrait photographer.
Here’s where she tells you she likes the feel of the ocean and the
taste of champagne. Oh wait …

Truth is, she does love the ocean (when she can make it to a
coast!), but what she loves more is documenting the lives of her
clients — big days, little moments, they all carry meaning and deserve
to be captured.

This blog is where Gail shares her current client work and don’t be
surprised to find plenty of personal antecedotes on here as well.
Because when it comes to her life, Gail’s pretty much an open book. And
speaking of books, well, she loves those too. And her husband. And her
dog. So stick around and find out what else she likes or head over to www.gailwernerphoto.com to take a peek at her portfolio. Want to get a hold of her? E-mail Gail at gail@gailwernerphoto.com.

And just for the record, Gail also likes pina coladas but draws the line at getting caught in the rain.

Gail Werner is available for travel to any location.

Alyson and Matt didn’t date in high...

A year ago today ….

I woke up super early, nervous. So nervous I could barely get my breakfast down. It was the morning of my best friend’s wedding. And she’d picked ME to be her photographer. The girl who hadn’t done this before on her own. The girl unsure whether, come nightfall, she’d make do on delivering the goods.
When...

8, 3 & 1

There’s a big box of photographs in our house, a clear tub that when I’m feeling nostaligic — particularly about my college years — I like to dig through. With Nick gone over the weekend, the quietness of an empty house led me to cleaning, which led to opening the closet, which led to finding...

A beautiful opportunity & a gorgeous Indian wedding

It’s no secret I love the Turtles . They did an incredible job documenting our wedding day and in the 3 years since, Nick and I feel so blessed to call both Amanda and Nate dear friends. When Amanda asked me some weeks ago if I could help the two of them shoot what promised...

If you are chilly, here take my sweater …

It happened this week. That moment when my body and brain synced in realization that a seasonal change is underway. For me, it brought with it both a shiver and bit of glee.
You see, fall is my favorite time of year, and October a favorite month. There are reasons aplenty for this: They start with...
