Gail Werner Photography bio picture

Welcome to my Blog!

Gail Werner is a central Indiana wedding and portrait photographer.
Here’s where she tells you she likes the feel of the ocean and the
taste of champagne. Oh wait …

Truth is, she does love the ocean (when she can make it to a
coast!), but what she loves more is documenting the lives of her
clients — big days, little moments, they all carry meaning and deserve
to be captured.

This blog is where Gail shares her current client work and don’t be
surprised to find plenty of personal antecedotes on here as well.
Because when it comes to her life, Gail’s pretty much an open book. And
speaking of books, well, she loves those too. And her husband. And her
dog. So stick around and find out what else she likes or head over to www.gailwernerphoto.com to take a peek at her portfolio. Want to get a hold of her? E-mail Gail at gail@gailwernerphoto.com.

And just for the record, Gail also likes pina coladas but draws the line at getting caught in the rain.

Gail Werner is available for travel to any location.

Monthly Archives: November 2009

Thank you mailman … no, really THANK YOU

There are some days you look forward to getting your mail more than others.
Monday was definitely one of those days.
I’d been anticipating delivery of this issue of Vanity Fair since I’d heard months ago that Rob would be gracing its cover. And when the photo spread hit the Internet last week, well, I might have...

Corbin: Senior Photos

At the risk of possibly embarrassing him, I probably shouldn’t say this. But I’m going to anyway: I’ve known Corbin since he was ohhhhh….. about 7 years old. And I’m not sure that fact really hit me until I started processing these photos. AND SUDDENLY FELT WAY OLD.
That admission out of the way, let me...

I really love …

The Swell Season.
2009 has been a year of live music for me. I’ve seen a lot of great shows, from indie artists to bigger acts like Kings of Leon and Coldplay. But not even Chris Martin hitting every note of “Fix You” moved me the way seeing this duo live just did. Being a creative...

Featured on The Bokeh Pot!

File this under the “Maybe it’s just me” category: But do you ever sit in traffic or get stuck in a line somewhere or listen to someone talk through an ENTIRE concert and think how this very scenario would be your response to the hypothetical person who asks “What’s your biggest peeve?”  TOTALLY embarrassing...

Kinsi and Jeff: Sneak Peek

I’m a push-over by nature. The last one to win at an argument. And never very good at proving people wrong (just ask Nick, my “Should-have-been-a-lawyer-with-his-effectiveness-to-drive-home-a-point” husband).
BUT, I’m TOTALLY gonna prove Kinsi wrong with this blog post here. You see, Kinsi and Jeff arrived for our engagement session being their adorable selves right from the...

A very Mad Men Halloween, indeed

I can’t remember who first told me that my husband looked a smidge like the VERY attractive Jon Hamm, star of the AMC hit, Mad Men. I’ve documented that comparison once before on here, just as I’ve mentioned a time or two how much my husband and I just adore the show.
The infatuation I have...
