Gail Werner Photography bio picture

Welcome to my Blog!

Gail Werner is a central Indiana wedding and portrait photographer.
Here’s where she tells you she likes the feel of the ocean and the
taste of champagne. Oh wait …

Truth is, she does love the ocean (when she can make it to a
coast!), but what she loves more is documenting the lives of her
clients — big days, little moments, they all carry meaning and deserve
to be captured.

This blog is where Gail shares her current client work and don’t be
surprised to find plenty of personal antecedotes on here as well.
Because when it comes to her life, Gail’s pretty much an open book. And
speaking of books, well, she loves those too. And her husband. And her
dog. So stick around and find out what else she likes or head over to www.gailwernerphoto.com to take a peek at her portfolio. Want to get a hold of her? E-mail Gail at gail@gailwernerphoto.com.

And just for the record, Gail also likes pina coladas but draws the line at getting caught in the rain.

Gail Werner is available for travel to any location.

I found a MAGICAL place to photograph Mandi and Sam’s engagement session on Sunday morning. And by magical, I mean rain boots-and-good-attitudes were required of us to get there. Lucky for me I have amazing clients who didn’t mind coming back to the car with soaking wet jeans.
You two, I told you it was worth...

May Goals

Let’s put April behind us and move on to some goals for May. I’m not gonna lie, by “put April behind us” I totally mean “recycle some of April’s goals for a new month”. But hey, that’s totally allowed! It’s my blog! I make the rules

The Kingdon Family

Back with a full post of photo goodness featuring the Kingdon family! I said it before and I’ll say it again, but it was a real treat getting to work with this threesome for an afternoon. One of the life facts about Heather and Ben that I latched on to was discovering that, like me...

Somebody loves our new Flokati rug

Mid-way through this living room project and I’m learning to let go—trying to, anyway—of caring so much about making everything look perfect. I’ve been trying to understand why I am stressing out over such material stuff—throw pillows and picture frames and curtains—when, elsewise, I’m a pretty unmaterialistic person. I suppose it’s because I’m a perfectionist....
