Nick and I are devoted Mad Men fans. And I when I say devoted, I mean D-E-V-O-T-E-D in the never-miss-it, dissect-every-episode kind of way. So much so that, last year, we went as Don and Betty Draper for Halloween. At the time, I mentioned how much I wish I had taken those pictures within the time allotted to enter Nick into AMC’s Mad Men Casting Call contest, with the winner earning a walk-on role on Mad Men.
Little did I know AMC would bring the contest back for another year. And so you know why I’m here writing this blog entry. To pretty pretty pleaaaaassssseeeee with a cherry on top ask you to VOTE FOR MY HUSBAND.
Folks, we’ve never won anything in our lives. And I know I’ve got more chances at pulling all five numbers in the lottery than helping Nick win this contest, but I can’t think of a single person out of the 1,000-plus people who’ve entered so far who’s got my husband beat in looking as though he just stepped out of the offices of Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce. Internet, come on, don’t you agree????? WE NEED TO GET HIM IN THAT TOP 10!!!!!!!!!!!!!
