I totally GET YOU on the Glen and Marketa/”Once” thing, girl! It may be super cheesy, but that movie is what inspired me to finally get an acoustic guitar and learn to play. (I desperately wanted to learn piano or guitar, and a guitar just fits better in my teeny townhouse!) Love it!

Hey Gail! I’ve been following you for a while now and when I saw this post and the other post a few weeks back about how much you love COldplay (ME TOO!!) I just had to see if you have heard of Ray Lamontange. I too have been to some pretty amazing concerts this year. I saw Coldplay, U2 just a few weeks ago and this past weekend I saw Ray Lamontange. Seriously, this guy is beyond incredible. The entire concert was just him and his guitar and you could have easily heard a pen drop. I love everything about this post! I’ve been listening to Swell season all week long (a few of my friends went to the concert and told me how great it was). I first fell in love with Glen’s music a few years back when I saw him perform with the Frames (who opened for Damien Rice – ahhh-mazing concert). I just love his voice – especially when he wails! Haha! LOVE it!

OOo..I love them too. They are a beautiful pair and their music is incredibly moving. You’re so lucky you got to see them in concert, I didn’t even know they were touring. I would love to see them sometime(although quite doubtful they will make it to Chile anytime soon).
Also, great post on the bokehpot. How exciting to be featured! I now need to find myself a photo Bff;-)

GAIL!!! YOU are a girl after my own heart, ha! a) both erik and i LOVE once; such an amazing film and story, yet so few people have actually heard of it or seen it in my experience. b) i had absolutely no idea glen and marketa were still singing together; actually i had no idea they continued with anyting after the movie. wow! are they and item? sigh** i was heartbroken in the movie when they didn’t end up together… c) you are such a lucky girl to have seen them live! seriously. i think right now i’m going to look up their schedule to see if they’ll be playing anywhere in europe. d) yes, ‘falling slowly’ is a beautiful song…when they play it together in the music store; ohhh, so sweet! i also love ‘if you want me’. ok, enough ranting. GREAT post, girl!
