Welcome to my Blog!

Gail Werner is a central Indiana wedding and portrait photographer.
Here’s where she tells you she likes the feel of the ocean and the
taste of champagne. Oh wait …

Truth is, she does love the ocean (when she can make it to a
coast!), but what she loves more is documenting the lives of her
clients — big days, little moments, they all carry meaning and deserve
to be captured.

This blog is where Gail shares her current client work and don’t be
surprised to find plenty of personal antecedotes on here as well.
Because when it comes to her life, Gail’s pretty much an open book. And
speaking of books, well, she loves those too. And her husband. And her

Jen and Josh: Sneak Peek

Mother Nature wanted to play games on Saturday with all the Hoosier photographers gearing up to photograph weddings. Thankfully, the rain stayed away and while the clouds looked threatening, we got a day of nice diffused light instead and hey, I’ll TOTALLY take that!

I have to thank the talented Courtney Reece for traveling up from Louisville to second shoot with me. Courtney’s presence—combined with Jen and Josh’s laidback approach to their whole day—erased any wedding photographer jitters I might have been feeling and the day went off without a hitch. Jen and Josh, if and when that flight of yours lands in the Dominic Republic, I hope you enjoy this sneak peek of the images that are to come from your big day. I know it went by in a blur, so here’s to letting it soak in now. You two looked mahhhhvelous :)

Jen had the BEST hot pink details, right down to the shoes! Oooh, there will be more of them to come, I promise!
