Gail Werner Photography bio picture

Welcome to my Blog!

Gail Werner is a central Indiana wedding and portrait photographer.
Here’s where she tells you she likes the feel of the ocean and the
taste of champagne. Oh wait …

Truth is, she does love the ocean (when she can make it to a
coast!), but what she loves more is documenting the lives of her
clients — big days, little moments, they all carry meaning and deserve
to be captured.

This blog is where Gail shares her current client work and don’t be
surprised to find plenty of personal antecedotes on here as well.
Because when it comes to her life, Gail’s pretty much an open book. And
speaking of books, well, she loves those too. And her husband. And her
dog. So stick around and find out what else she likes or head over to www.gailwernerphoto.com to take a peek at her portfolio. Want to get a hold of her? E-mail Gail at gail@gailwernerphoto.com.

And just for the record, Gail also likes pina coladas but draws the line at getting caught in the rain.

Gail Werner is available for travel to any location.

Kinsi and Jeff: Sneak Peek

There are certain couples with whom you click in a profound way. And there are weddings that—for whatever the reason may be—you will never forget, no matter how many more you shoot. For me, that couple was Kinsi and Jeff; that wedding being the one I witnessed from behind my viewfinder on Saturday as these two said their vows under a soft drizzle of rain.

From all their home-spun, handmade details (Ball jars and daisies and handmade place cards!) to their laidback, breezy attitudes (I have seriously NEVER been so relaxed shooting a wedding; at one point, I realized we were just chatting and hanging out because we were having such a great time and everyone was so chill), I loved everything about this day.

And I can’t wait to share more of it with you but for now, a sneak peek for the couple. Just in case they happen to have Internet in whatever coastal bungalow they may find themselves in as they honeymoon in Costa Rica :)

At one point, I stopped shooting, looked at these two and with all the sincerity I could muster said, “I feel so lucky to have such beautiful clients”. SERIOUSLY HOW GORGEOUS ARE THEY?

MUCHHHHHHHHHHHH more to come from this pair!
