“Let’s take a ride to the seaside / We can go out swimming in the high tide / Just wear your shorts and your long hair / Don’t forget the lawnchair”.
Come 5 o’clock tonight, the plan is for Nick and I to take off, windows down, kayak on top of the Subaru, playing this song and relishing the fact that we will be taking a short trip south, first for a whirlwind sight-seeing trip for the two of us to Charleston, then with the rest of Nick’s family to Hilton Head. And folks, I am READY for a vacation. It’s pretty bad when your to-do lists are making their own to-do lists.
So if you email me and I don’t get right back to you? Well, I’m sorry. I’m probably sipping on a frosty cold beverage somewhere along the Atlantic seaboard. Adios!
