Gail Werner Photography bio picture

Welcome to my Blog!

Gail Werner is a central Indiana wedding and portrait photographer.
Here’s where she tells you she likes the feel of the ocean and the
taste of champagne. Oh wait …

Truth is, she does love the ocean (when she can make it to a
coast!), but what she loves more is documenting the lives of her
clients — big days, little moments, they all carry meaning and deserve
to be captured.

This blog is where Gail shares her current client work and don’t be
surprised to find plenty of personal antecedotes on here as well.
Because when it comes to her life, Gail’s pretty much an open book. And
speaking of books, well, she loves those too. And her husband. And her
dog. So stick around and find out what else she likes or head over to www.gailwernerphoto.com to take a peek at her portfolio. Want to get a hold of her? E-mail Gail at gail@gailwernerphoto.com.

And just for the record, Gail also likes pina coladas but draws the line at getting caught in the rain.

Gail Werner is available for travel to any location.

My Etsy Xmas Wish Gift List

Somewhere out there is a person who gets paid to be people’s personal Etsy shopper. If that job doesn’t exist yet, well, it should. And I’d like to be the first person to send in her resume when it’s created. :)

A few weeks back, my pal Betsy asked me for some gift suggestions on Etsy. She knows better than anyone how much time I spend on this black hole of a Web site and so I thought instead of just sharing my suggestions with her, I’d let y’all in on some of my favorite gift suggestions if you want to rock an Xmas list Etsy-style.

1) A cool pillow — $35 I love the colors of this pillow, the fabric and how you can change up the color. 2) Stylin’ headband — $23 Once upon a time I tried to do fun stuff with my hair. Then I kind of gave up, thinking I was too old for it. Pssttt … you’re never too old for something sweet like this. 3) Funky earrings — $20 Sometimes the best kind of bling for yours ears is the most unique. These earrings have an illustration of San Fran’s Chinatown on them and I oohed and ahhed over them the first time I saw ‘em. 4) Custom pet doodle — $50 This one’s kind of on the pricey side, I’ll grant ya, but how cool would it be to give someone a sweet little doodle of THEIR pet? I covet one of these of my dog Daisy. 5) Inspirational print — $22 Everybody needs a positive saying to remind them to buck up and what better one in your home than this one? I am in LOVE with it. 6) Cozy knit cap — $48 Gals know that knit caps on etsy are a dime a dozen. But the RIGHT kind of cozy knit cap? Priceless. 7) Linen barettes — $12 Remember what I was sayin’ about dressin’ up the ‘do in 2010? These would be PERFECT. And come on, how cute is the name of this shop and its packaging? I’m sold on these for it alone. 8 ) Cool pottery — $25 Sara Paloma is such a great potter. Her work is amazing and would make for a great stand-alone on your desk with a little flower bud. Just perfect is what I’m sayin’. 9) Notebook — $16.50 You can never have enough notebooks. Jotting notes in something sweet like this would be an insta-pick-me-up, even if you’re writing down your grocery list. 10) Dandelion pendant — $34 Forget diamonds. I’d take dozens of cool pendants like this as my best friend. 11) Alpha print — $14 Know of someone with a baby in need of a gift? Initial art never ever goes out of style and I love this artist’s take on it. 12) Fun key chain — $17.50 Sure it’s kind of tacky, but for all of us who want a hippopotamus for Christmas, this little guy (and his many friends) are pretty clever. 13) Car catch-all — $15 The maker of these? Genius. Pure genius. This is one of those gifts that’s so thoughtful because you don’t KNOW you need it ’til you have it. Make sense? 14) Gypsy petal earrings — $24 These earrings are gorgeous. To the gentlemen out there, these babies are FOOL PROOF GIFTS FOR YOUR LADY FRIEND. For real. 15) Mini wallet — $13.95 For all those times all you need is an ID and some moola, this little guy is perfect for the occasion. 16) Necklush — $24-$75 I’m cheating because I already own one of these, but the times I’ve worn it, I’ve gotten mad compliments. It’s such a unique accessory that’s guaranteed to be a conversation piece for your wardrobe.
