Gail Werner Photography bio picture

Welcome to my Blog!

Gail Werner is a central Indiana wedding and portrait photographer.
Here’s where she tells you she likes the feel of the ocean and the
taste of champagne. Oh wait …

Truth is, she does love the ocean (when she can make it to a
coast!), but what she loves more is documenting the lives of her
clients — big days, little moments, they all carry meaning and deserve
to be captured.

This blog is where Gail shares her current client work and don’t be
surprised to find plenty of personal antecedotes on here as well.
Because when it comes to her life, Gail’s pretty much an open book. And
speaking of books, well, she loves those too. And her husband. And her
dog. So stick around and find out what else she likes or head over to www.gailwernerphoto.com to take a peek at her portfolio. Want to get a hold of her? E-mail Gail at gail@gailwernerphoto.com.

And just for the record, Gail also likes pina coladas but draws the line at getting caught in the rain.

Gail Werner is available for travel to any location.

Sarah and Adam: The Engagement

Sarah and Adam are so laidback and sweet. We met up in Broadripple in Indianapolis, which is where their relationship got started (they both saw each other for the first time on the Monon Trail there and lived in the area for a few years). I loved the easy rapport between these two and how willing they were to get great shots, whether it was me asking them to “Go climb that wall over there” or “Go ahead and kiss in front of all these people” – HA!

I hope you two enjoy these photographs and I can’t wait to document your wedding day this August!

WATCH THEIR SLIDESHOW

So cute and snuggly, these two :)

I love these two in black and white. I left them alone for a while and just shot away and they look so peaceful here … you would have thought I was paparazzi in the bushes stalking an unknowing couple ; ) I showed off this spot in the sneak peek but gosh darn it if I don’t love it just as much in black and white. I loved these purple flowers … my grandma used to have a bunch in her garden. A fun backdrop for portraits, eh?

Sarah, you look SO gorgeous here! You are going to make a beautiful summer bride! I love to ask couples to do this pose— what do I mean by this pose? Where the guy tries to lift his woman on his back. It almost ALWAYS fails, but it’s so fun and I usually get some silliness in the process. Totally worth it and thanks for playing along you two!
