Emily and Kevin: Their Wedding Story

Kevin’s treasure chest for Emily. By far one of the sweetest gifts I’ve ever seen one of my grooms bestow upon his bride! So many great moments captured during Emily and Kevin’s big day, but this sweet image of his niece and nephew walking down the aisle together is one of my FAVORITES. Awwwwww! Catholic churches are always so spectacular to photograph in. St. Mary’s was no exception. FAVORITE! Emily and Kevin, talk to me about canvases, because this one would look GORGEOUS all blown up and pretty on your bedroom wall! While I hung with the wedding party taking some relaxed portraits at the Indiana War Memorial, my second shooter and dear friend Kelly Heasley was at Union Station, capturing some of the beautiful details of the reception. Emily and Kevin’s reception was one of those kinds that’s so much fun, you wish you were a guest. All the same, Kelly and I definitely got our groove on for a couple songs! These two had a photo booth for their guests and I made sure they got a few shots in there together of the two of them. SO FUN! And finally, because they had reserved one of the incredible train car suites at the Crowne Plaza (the hotel inside Union Station), we HAD to get a few shots to document the ending of a fantastic night! Thanks to the two of you for an awesome way to end what has been an incredible year of documenting weddings. I couldn’t have imagined a better way to cap off 2010 than with you two!

Emily and Kevin: Sneak Peek

I can’t think of a better way to end my 2010 wedding season than photographing Emily and Kevin’s big day. Surrounded by friends and family in a BEAUTIFUL Catholic church in downtown Indianapolis, these two tied the knot and celebrated in a way that made me wish I could have a reception again just to have that much FUN! (Can you say photobooth?! )

Here’s a peek of what’s in store in the full post. And I have to give these two MAJOR props for having THE COOLEST honeymoon of anyone I’ve ever photographed. When I asked them where they were headed, they said in unison, “TAHITI!”

Ummm…can you say “Jealous much?” Hope you two are having a blast there! (Pssttt…who am I kidding? It’s TAHITI. Of COURSE you’re having a blast!)

Jen and Josh: Their Wedding Story

Jen and Josh decided to have a First Look before their wedding and it was the PERFECT opportunity for them to get those pre-wedding jitters out of the way and have an intimate moment together before the whirlwind of their wedding day got underway. Jen’s mom got emotional in the moment too. How sweet! How gorgeous does Jen look here?LOVE this behind-the-scenes shot that Courtney captured of Jen and her dad anxious for the ceremony to begin. After the ceremony, I joined the wedding party for a ride on an awesome party bus and we headed to Monument Circle in Indianapolis for some more shots with the wedding party. They knew how to make a big group look gooooddd! I love love love this shot
