Gail Werner Photography bio picture

Welcome to my Blog!

Gail Werner is a central Indiana wedding and portrait photographer.
Here’s where she tells you she likes the feel of the ocean and the
taste of champagne. Oh wait …

Truth is, she does love the ocean (when she can make it to a
coast!), but what she loves more is documenting the lives of her
clients — big days, little moments, they all carry meaning and deserve
to be captured.

This blog is where Gail shares her current client work and don’t be
surprised to find plenty of personal antecedotes on here as well.
Because when it comes to her life, Gail’s pretty much an open book. And
speaking of books, well, she loves those too. And her husband. And her
dog. So stick around and find out what else she likes or head over to www.gailwernerphoto.com to take a peek at her portfolio. Want to get a hold of her? E-mail Gail at gail@gailwernerphoto.com.

And just for the record, Gail also likes pina coladas but draws the line at getting caught in the rain.

Gail Werner is available for travel to any location.

Thank you mailman … no, really THANK YOU

There are some days you look forward to getting your mail more than others.

Monday was definitely one of those days.

I’d been anticipating delivery of this issue of Vanity Fair since I’d heard months ago that Rob would be gracing its cover. And when the photo spread hit the Internet last week, well, I might have sent an email with the subject line “HOT TAMALE ALERT” to a large chunk of my lady friends who are equally Twilight obsessed. I can assure you that drooling over seeing this photo spread in person was just as awesome as its virtual counterpart — as was reading the article twice.

Now for those of you wondering what my husband thinks of these celebrity crushes, let me just remind you I BLOG ABOUT ‘EM.

Meaning he knows. Knows about how I’ve got half-dozen pop culture web sites bookmarked on our computer. About how I go through a smidge of withdrawal if I miss too many nights’ worth of Extra or Entertainment Tonight. About how I came home from a baby shower this weekend the winner of a game where we had to match celebrities to their babies’ names, boasting to him about having guessed 18 out of 20 correct. So he knows about all this AND YET HE LOVES ME ANYWAY.

Folks, that’s unconditional. And had we written our own vows, I’m sure I would have considered adding a line or two to address this syndrome of mine. Yep, right after that part about “in sickness and in health” would have come a line or two about “celebrity infatuation” and …

And… I’m sorry…what was I saying again? Rob’s bedroom eyes seem to have distracted me AGAIN.

December 2, 2009 - 11:35 am lynn - Hahaha! I recently got a subscription to Vanity Fair and this was the first issue...I had been waiting more than 6 weeks so I finally gave up and bought in the store, for fear that I would miss out, and of course it arrived the next day in the mail. So I gave the second issue to another obsessed friend. It's been sitting on my night stand for weeks and I'm too busy/tired to read it. Need to shift priorities, I think. :)

August 8, 2010 - 10:44 pm Melissa - You know, he just didn't do it for me until I saw "Remember me"... now I get it.
