I blogged the Muir family’s sneak peek a few weeks back so it’s been a while since you’ve seen their cuteness! For a reintroduction, meet Aaron, Stephanie and their precious baby girl, Alexandria. Stephanie found me through a friend who was a bridesmaid at my first wedding of 2009 back in April (doesn’ that feel SO long ago?!) Well, the day of Nikki and Keegan’s wedding, Stephanie was in the delivery room! So we never got to meet in person, but Stephanie was so great about finding me over the summer and putting in an early e-mail request for some family photos (A note to potential clients: Don’t be afraid to pencil in a fall photo session with me months in advance. Better than waiting ’til 6 weeks before the holidays and discovering your photographer is all booked up!)
Back to the Muirs: What a beautiful afternoon we had for our session and I gotta tell you, the small glimpse I had into this family’s life? It was pretty special. The closer I get to an age where the idea of starting a family feels more tangible, the more I seek out connections with other young couples walking that same beautiful path before me. Aaron and Stephanie, I could FEEL the love oozing out of your new life together as a family of three. It was so great to see, a real inspiration, and I hope you know how much it meant to me to get a peek at what I hope is to come in my own life (in a few years, folks…don’t start with the baby questioning just yet!!
)
Enjoy these photos and fall in love with THE SLIDESHOW. I picked a Ben Harper song that I think couldn’t have been a better fit. Just “The Three of Us” you are now …. and what a blessed place to be.
Okay, EVERY time I see this photo, it puts a smile on my face. So cute, so that age where everything in front of her goes into her mouth. Leaves included.

Naaaahhhhh…she’s DEFINITELY not a Daddy’s Girl

There is something about this photo I love so, so much. Silhouettes can convey so much with us seeing so little.

If this next set of images had an accompanying caption, I’m pretty sure it’d read “The Joys of Motherhood”….ahhhhhh

Yep, that’s right little one. Your parents’ arms is the best place to be …

FAVORITE!

The cuteness of these next photos of Alexandria makes my heart want to explode. You two are so lucky to have such a joy in your lives!

Thanks again to the Muir family! I hope this isn’t the last I get to see that girl of yours grow
